This high-quality artists' gesso offers excellent opacity, tooth, adhesion, and water-resistance. It can be applied to raw canvas, wood, hardboard, paper, and other porous surfaces as a ground for oil or acrylic painting. This 100% pure acrylic polymer formula contains a high percentage of titanium dioxide for a brilliant white ground that covers in one to two coats, and dries to a flat, flexible, non-yellowing film.
