These dragonflies are originally intented to slip over string (Christmas) lights with a black rubber gasket to hold them in place, as seen in the last photo. Some, but not all of these dragonflies include the rubber gasket. Those with the gasket could be reused for their intended purpose, but these would also be great for repurposing into sculpture, decor or other craft projects such as a mobile or chimes.
