Do you still accept donations of items in exchange for store credit?
At this time, we are not giving store credit. We will accept donations of good quality art & craft materials on a case-by-case basis, and can pick up within a 10 mile radius of Downtown Greensboro, NC. We are not a 501-C3, and therefore do not have a tax receipt. Your donation supports a small local business, and keeps unused art materials out of the landfill. Please send us a message to inquire about donating good quality pre-owned art & craft supplies to Shelf Life.
Can I still spend the store credit that I had?
Yes! We will still honor store credit as a valid form of payment for in-stock merchandise only. Store Credit cannot be applied to special orders, sales tax or shipping. At this time, store credit purchases must be handled "manually." Please send us a message with a list of the items you'd like to purchase, and we will send you a Paypal invoice applying the store credit to your order. Only items listed currently listed in this store, in our Etsy store, or in our Alibris book store are available for purchase.
Can I visit your store?
As of July 2020, our storefront on Lawndale Drive has closed. There are now two great ways to view our inventory. For new & used art & craft supplies, our merchandise can be viewed and purchased online at shelflifeart.com. While we can and do ship anywhere in the world, we also offer FREE local pick-up of online purchases at our Downtown Greensboro office location.

How is Pica the Shop Dog?
Pica is adjusting to retirement after a successful 5 year career as Shelf Life Shop Dog. She misses all the love and attention from her Shelf Life friends. She is making a few new friends at the office, but she tells me it's just not quite the same.
